Clayton Control Systems supplied Custom Motor Control Panels for Chevron's Tahiti Offshore Drilling Platform. The unique requirements for this application were such that the Motor Control Panels were mounted horizonally for transport of the Spar to the jobsite in Gulf of Mexico, with special bracing to insure that the assembly would withstand the dynamic forces of the unusual position. These sections were constructed to share common parts with Allen Bradley MCC's that were furnished on the topsides portion of the project.
