Clayton Control Systems was contacted by a customer that was using an ultra violet disinfection system for the effluent discharge
of a wastewater treatment plant. The customer was experiencing an excessive amount of premature failures of the ultra violet light ballasts.
This equipment was housed in stainless steel cabinets located outside at the effluent discharge basin. The premature failures were caused by
the excessive amount of heat in the cabinets. Clayton Control Systems provided Thermal Cooling Units for the existing ultra violet stainless
steel control panels. The job consisted of retrofitting the existing enclosures to accomodate the installation of the new cooling units.
